Brightside announces interim results on Friday 14th September, and the specialist insurance broker is on target to deliver another rise in profits, having previously delivered nine successive years of growth.

The group continues to expand, adding supermarket Asda and department store Debenhams to its list of partnerships where it handles the online car insurance business. Expansion has been assisted by last year’s acquisition of ESystems, an online trading platform through which its products are sold and administered. There has been no dividend since the company was floated in 2008, but given the strong performance a maiden dividend may be on the cards.
