That's because following a number of disposals and a revaluation of the investment portfolio, the company has just announced that its net asset value per share shot up from 88p at the end of December to 94p at the end of March. I flagged up a likely positive revaluation last month, and a potentially profitable investment opportunity it offered ('Happy capital returns', 15 Apr 2014). Even better still, book value has risen since the first-quarter period end and is now around 95p a share.
