Pennon's South West Water subsidiary has been fast-tracked through the process as regulator Ofwat liked its business plan. That means Pennon, unlike the other listed water companies, has already received draft proposals. Investors will want to hear whether Pennon plans to accept them. The company has until 4 June to respond.
Credit Suisse expects adjusted earnings per share to slip 11 per cent to 38p, but the full-year dividend to rise 7 per cent to 30.37p.
