Marketing and print group St Ives (SIV) has announced that its chief executive Patrick Martell is leaving at the end of July to join Informa. Mr Martell has been at the group for over three decades, holding the top job since 2009.

Under his stewardship St Ives has successfully rebalanced its business away from traditional print to marketing services. A feat that has helped drive a strong share price performance. He will be succeeded by Matt Armitage who has been the group's finance director since 2007 and also heads up its marketing services business.
