Secure Income REIT (SIR) benefits from an impressive income stream that comes from two principle tenants; Ramsey Health Care (Aus:RHC), one of the five largest private hospital groups in the world, while a further 39 per cent is backed by Merlin Entertainments (MERL), the largest operator of visitor attractions in Europe. Unexpired lease terms average 24 years, and all rents are subject to annual uplifts at fixed rates or linked to retail price inflation.

Just last month it raised around £280m through a secondary placing of ordinary shares, equivalent to nearly two-thirds of the issued share capital, with a view to making fresh acquisitions. Shares in the company are tightly held by Prestbury Group and a number of other key investors. However, liquidity will be significantly enhanced with the sale of 20.1m shares - worth more than £51m - by board member Nick Leslau, who will still retain a 12 per cent holding, equivalent to 22.5m shares.
