Investment trust discounts seem to remain almost universally wide, even as hopes grow that interest rates and inflation have peaked. That much has become especially apparent in the alternatives space, where investors remain wary of stated valuations and trusts fight for their existence. From unlisted companies to the likes of music royalty catalogues, investors have plenty to say about what a portfolio might really be worth.
