N Brown's PPI provisions grow

A surge in requests has led the group to increase its net debt forecasts for the full year

N Brown (BWNG) has become the latest group to be affected by the surge in payment protection insurance (PPI) information requests and complaints ahead of the recent deadline. The clothing retailer has announced an additional £20m-£30m provision to the £108m already paid, to cover the cost of redress after experiencing a 10-fold increase in the number of requests.
