Independent consultant Snowden has upgraded the resource estimate at Bezant's Mankayan project in the Philippines, confirming this to be a large copper and gold deposit. Snowden estimates the project's inferred resource to be 277.7m tonnes, containing 1.39m tonnes of copper and 3.8m ounces of gold.

Snowden's estimate conforms to the Australian benchmark Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC) standards, and is based on 45km of historical drilling at the project, excluding assay data being generated from Bezant's current 11km drilling programme. Snowden is confident that Bezant should be able to upgrade areas of the deposit to the more certain "indicated" resource category as a result of drilling and further consolidation of historical data.
