Business consulting and outsourcing group Logica has bolstered its board ahead of the retirement of Crister Stjernfelt, the chief executive and chief marketing officer of the Nordic business, in the first half of next year.

First, the group has established a new business consulting division, which will focus on improving the business performance of clients. A new role of chief client officer has also been created for Amanda Mesler, currently head of North America. Mr Stjernfelt's roles will transfer to Sweden chief executive Stefan Gardefjord and Joao Baptista, the chief executive of northern and central Europe.
