Production climbs at Highland Gold

Buy tip Highland Gold saw production of the yellow metal rise 9.5 per cent in the first half of the year
August 10, 2012

Highland Gold reported it remains on track to produce 200,000 to 215,000 ounces of gold this year after first-half production rose almost 10 per cent to 101,900 ounces. The Russia-focused gold mining group will disclose cash operating costs for the period in September, when it reports its financial results on or around 19 September. It noted costs are expected to rise slightly because of increased waste stripping at the ageing MNV open-pit mine.
