Continuing to focus on sales growth in the UK and the largely-untapped US market, the group is promoting its new home emergency hotline 0800 24 7 999 and has signed an agreement with West Bromwich Albion to sponsor the Premier League football side. Meanwhile, the group's French warranty business, SFG, penned a deal with Indesit to manage the domestic appliance manufacturer's extended insurance policies.

On Monday, HomeServe's shares were subdivided, with shareholders receiving five new shares for each one held. As a result, the share price went from 2,178p to 436p.
