In the latest move within the Ziff Concert Party, which comprises three Town Centre Securities' (TOWN) directors, Edward, Michael and Benjamin Ziff and several family members, chairman and chief executive Edward Ziff and non-executive director Michael Ziff are no longer trustees for 50,000 TCS shares as these have been sold.
And in a separate move, non-executive director Michael Ziff has transferred a total of 30,000 shares to his three sons. Edward Ziff still holds over 21m beneficial and non-beneficial shares, while Michael Ziff has over 10m beneficial and non-beneficial shares. The takeover panel approved Ziff Concert Party still owns 51.3 per cent of the issued share capital.
Leeds-based TCS continues to face headwinds through its exposure to the retail and leisure sectors, but has reduced that part of its portfolio from 70 per cent two years ago to 52 per cent. More disposals can be expected, although valuations are likely to remain under pressure.
