Metro Bank chief banks £2.5m

Shares in Metro Bank (MTRO) have risen solidly since the challenger bank listed two years ago. It's perhaps unsurprising, then, that chief executive Craig Donaldson and non-executive director Harry Lockhart decided to bank some of those gains. Mr Donaldson sold £2.5m-worth of shares, while his colleague disposed of shares worth more than a quarter of a million pounds. Both sales were made near the share price all-time high.
