Frontier warns on revenues as it delays flagship release

The video game developer's shares fell after it pushed back the release of an expansion to its flagship game

Shares in Frontier Developments (FDEV) fell 13 per cent after the video game developer delayed the full launch of Elite Dangerous: Horizons by six to eight weeks. It will now release the expansion to its flagship space shooter in its next financial year, leading management to warn that second-half revenues will be "substantially below" prior expectations.

Broker Numis slashed its EPS forecasts by 72 per cent to 7.3p for the year to May 2017 (FY2016: loss per share of 19.2p).
