As promised in its final results announcement, global music and audio products company Focusrite (TUNE) has launched a new product range - the second-generation Scarlett USB audio interface. The products are updated versions of the group's world-leading Scarlett range which was originally launched in 2011 and has sold over 1m units since then. It includes products to suit a wide spectrum of music makers, from hobbyist recording musicians, all the way through to semi-professional producers and audio engineers.

The next generation of Scarlett is "an even better product for recording musicians", according to chief executive Dave Froker. It is "faster and easier to use" and boasts a host of improvements in the product design and software.
