Ryanair (RYA) will close two more aircraft bases in response to yet another delay over the delivery of its Boeing 737 Max jets. Having cut in July the number of aircraft it expected to receive next year from 58 to 30, then revised this down to 20 last month, the airline now expects to receive just 10 jets for next summer.

It will accordingly close its Nuremberg and Stockholm Skavsta bases and expects to cut summer capacity in a number of other facilities. Anticipated traffic growth for Ryanair’s 2021 full-year has been reduced to 156m from 157m.
