Every year in December, we get our crystal balls out and try and predict what the year ahead might have in store for investors. It's rarely easy - after all, who but the most gloom-laden cassandra could have forecast that some of the world's biggest banks would collapse, and that governments would spend such unprecdented sums rescuing the financial system?
Still, that hasn't stopped us having another go this year. Below, you'll find a summary of our 2009 investment themes, with links to more detailed items.
