Shares in telematics group Trakm8 (TRAK) climbed 4 per cent after it extended its agreement with the AA beyond it own roadside assistance and recovery vehicles. The pair have developed a fleet management system that can track vehicles' fuel consumption, driver behavior and routes taken. The AA will sell the solution to fleet operators to reduce their costs and logistical challenges.

Broker finnCap estimates that the AA's fleet customers operate around 9.5m vehicles in total. Prior to the trading update, it expected EPS to soar 92 per cent to 11.3p in the year to March 2016 (FY 2015: 5.9p).
