Business is better than expected at Cambria Automobiles (CAMB), but don't get too overexcited as there's no official profit upgrade from bosses yet. That said, management has said trading during the first five months of the financial year exceeded expectations, both on a total and underlying basis.

New vehicle unit sales rose 3.8 per cent (although like-for-likes sales fell 1.2 per cent) and used vehicle sales also performed well, with unit sales 4.3 per cent (or 2.3 per cent on an underlying basis) ahead of the same period in the prior year. Half-year results are due in early May.
